What is a Varsity Wrestler?
A varsity wrestler is the number one wrestler at the weight class they have declared. The varsity team will compete in matches every Sunday and at additional dual meets and tournaments scheduled throughout the season. At practice the varsity team is often working together learning new skills and enhancing their knowledge of the sport. Our varsity wrestlers compete against the top level programs throughout Ohio to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a state champion.
